Our Founder – Madam Cheah Bee Chew
Bee Choo Origin was founded by Madam Cheah Bee Chew in 2000, driven by her passion to provide safe, natural, and affordable solutions for common scalp and hair problems.
In the early days, she noticed many people around her struggling with hair loss, dandruff, oily scalp, and premature greying, yet effective treatments were either too harsh or too expensive. Determined to make a difference, Madam Cheah began experimenting with traditional Chinese herbs, creating her own fresh herbal paste from her kitchen. Family, friends, and neighbors were the first to try her unique herbal hair treatment, and when they experienced visible results, word spread quickly. What began as a humble home-based service soon grew into one of Singapore’s most trusted names in herbal scalp and hair care.
As demand grew, Madam Cheah decided to formally train as a trichologist to deepen her understanding of scalp health and strengthen the scientific foundation of her treatments. Combining trichology knowledge with traditional herbal wisdom, she refined Bee Choo’s signature Herbal Hair Treatment, ensuring it was both effective and safe for long-term scalp care.
Today, Bee Choo Origin has grown into an international brand with outlets across Asia and beyond, serving millions of men and women seeking natural solutions for scalp health and hair loss. Our CEO – Estee Lim
Carrying forward her mother’s legacy, Ms. Estee Lim is the second-generation leader and current CEO of Bee Choo Origin. Growing up alongside the brand, she witnessed firsthand how her mother’s dedication to natural scalp care transformed lives and gave hope to those struggling with hair loss and scalp issues. Inspired by this mission, she joined the business to continue building on its strong foundation.
With a background in science and optometry, Estee brings a unique analytical perspective to the world of herbal hair and scalp treatments. Her scientific training allows her to bridge traditional wisdom with modern insights, refining Bee Choo’s formulations and ensuring treatments remain both safe and effective.She further strengthened her expertise by obtaining a Certificate in Trichology from the International Association of Trichologists (IAT), allowing her to bridge traditional herbal wisdom with modern scalp and hair science. Under her leadership, the company has expanded internationally, enhanced research and development, and embraced digital platforms to make natural scalp care accessible to more customers worldwide.
